The Sundial is in the premier location in Whistler Village - centrally located to everything -- plus great views of the mountains. Rooms were very clean, large, free wireless internet, all amenities you could think of. I researched many hotels -- Sundial was by far the best value -- very reasonable! Would highly recommend.

We loved everything about the Sundial Boutique. The front desk service was very friendly and professional. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was a suite with a king bed, overlooking the mountain. There was a small balcony to sit outside and people watch. There were Aveda products in the bathroom. We stayed here for one night in July so we obviously didn't use the fireplace or the rooftop jacuzzi. So I can only imagine how lovely the stay would be in winter. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Parking is $17 a night, but it's underground from the hotel, very secure, and easy access to the hotel elevators right to your room. The hotel is located right in the village and you can easily walk anywhere in this area.

Fantastic!!! The staff were extremely friendly, the room sensational, the location was the best in Whistler.... Make sure you get a room with a spa....801 was the room we had and it was AMAZING! Nothing like sitting in a lovely warm spa on your own private deck looking at snow capped mountains in complete privacy. I can't speak more highly of a hotel.

This hotel is absolutely nothing short of stunning! The rooms are EXTREMELY comfortable and the views are breathtaking! Add to this the CENTRAL location, personal hot tubs and patios with each room and this place is UNBEATABLE and UNFORGETTABLE! Plus, the staff is extremely kind! Even the "worst" room in the house probably is better than 95% of other rooms in Whistler.

This hotel had everything - beautifully appointed rooms, fireplace, fully functional kitchen, luxury linens and bath amenities - it was pampering all the way, at a very reasonable price. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We requested a room on a higher floor and were delighted to be allocated floor 7, with village and mountain views. The aspect from the room was so scenic at any time of day, but mornings and sunset were spectacular. What a find!

This hotel was charmingly furnished, extremely clean, and we enjoyed an ensuite room with a fireplace, full living room area with sofas, full kitchen and bar, plush king size bed, gorgeous large bathroom, and rooftop hottub access. Every detail was perfect: high quality bedding and pillows, high quality furniture and detailings, large windows with beautiful view of the ski mountain, flat screen tv with dvd player, wonderful location and parking, informed, quick, helpful staff.

This was our second stay at the Sundial. Our experience had improved over our original stay in October. We stayed in Suite 705..one of the Hot Tub Suites and were pleased with the amenities provided in the room. One of the front desk staff was wonderful. She was very pleasant and friendly. She helped us with everything we needed including booking another stay again in July. The room was very clean and had a full kitchen which proved wonderful for making breakfasts and lunches which we enjoyed on the patio table in the sun. Loved having a king sized bed with a real duvet and a fire place in the bedroom kept it cozy. We used the hot tub every day to soothe our aching muscles after our days adventures and there was also a large jacuzzi bathtub in the bedroom if we didn't feel like going outside. The hotel is located near the gondolas and across from the Longhorn bar which can get noisy at night if you leave your windows open. Once closed though we didn't hear a thing. The hotel is right on the village stroll and close to many shops and restaurants. Overall this is an excellent hotel to stay at and we will be going back again. We also recommended it to friends of ours planning a stay in the near future.

A highlight of the hotel is the staff. They were very friendly and quick to serve, whether with storing ski equipment or making restaurant recommendations or reservations. They also knew the area very well and always pointed us in the right direction. Our room was a one-bedroom suite that faced the road (= away from the pedestrian areas) and was completely quiet. The living area was nicely furnished and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom was tight, but I preferred having the space in the living room anyway. Beds were very comfortable. Nice amenities in the room include a great selection of cable TV and a DVD player, and free wireless internet. A great perk is the rooftop hot tub - perfect after a day on the slopes. Robes are provided in the rooms to get there, and towels are available up top. There are also laundry machines in the basement. The location is perfect for both Whistler and Blackcomb - literally 2 to 3 minutes walking to any of the lifts. All the shops and restaurants are very convenient and easy to walk to. I would definitely stay here to be closer to the lifts!

I am writing this review on the last day of a seven night stay at the Sundial and I guess the best endorsement that I can give this hotel is that we will return next season. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel from the bus shuttle, the staff has been great. All our gear was taken care of immediately, the bellman came down the steps to load it all up and promptly delivered it all to our room. Check in was fast which was appreciated after a long day of travel. Responses to requests for service have been met within minutes ie. coffee filters. Access to both the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas is great and appreciated since we have a six year daughter. Being right in the village meant that we could browse the shops before and after dinner. The hotel also has an in-house ski tuning service which was also a delight to use. Great hotel, great service, great location!!!

If you are skiing Whistler, this is the place. After a great day of skiing, staff greets you at the door and insists on putting away your skis - I felt a bit guilty at first, but they insisted. Staff is very friendly and humorous, the rooms are great - bathroom floors are heated with nice size walk-in shower. I love this place - you will too.

The check-in was very efficient and really quick and when we entered our suite it was amazing. What a place! They had shut the curtains, put the fire on and turned the bedding down! First, let me tell you about the suite - this was the best equipped suite we have ever stayed in. It was very clean, modern, with all the equipment you could ever want and very, very cosy. The bed needs a mention as it was just sooooo comfortable. In the morning, we opened the curtains to a wow factor - a view of Whistler mountain one side and Blackcombe mountain the other! The location was fab - right in the middle of Whistler with a less than a minutes walk to the ski lift. As for Whistler - loved every minute and would definately recommend this to anyone considering a visit to Whistler - there is loads to do even if you don't ski!

This hotel is great. I've stayed at many places in Whistler and this by far was the best one. The staff was very helpful from the moment we walked in. The lobby was beautiful along with the fire place burning. It was a great Christmas setting. The bell man was quick to come to the car, help us unload and by the time we got to our room, our stuff was already in our suite and our ski's were placed in the storage. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's right in the village and steps away from the slopes.

Everything was perfect. I stayed with my wife and my two daughters (5 and 9) in a one room unit. The location, the room, the friendliness of the people, the concierge, everything top of the line. I stayed in the 3rd floor with a village view and there were no bothering sounds at all. The only sound I heard was in the morning when the trucks removed the snow from road, and when I hear that sound was like music to me since it was a sign of a good powder day in the mountain.

I spend many weekends in Whistler, 15-20 a year and I have stayed in a wide variety of accomodations all over the mountain; this boutique hotel is excellent. The suite I stayed in had a full kitchen as well as a full living room and great bathroom. The location is IDEAL if you want to spend anytime in the village shopping, taking in some apres activities or just wandering around. The hotel is literally at the bottom of both the Blackcomb and Whistler gondola's.

This is a fantastic hotel very close to the ski lifts. Good sized room well decorated with all the amenities that you could need. The hot tub on the roof was a great place to go after a day in the mountains and a good place to spot bears.

This hotel is centrally located in lower village. The staff are welcoming, and the lobby modern and smart. We had booked a suite, and were very impressed with our room. The lounge was open plan with the kitchen, there was a separte bedroom, and a bathroom with bath/shower. The floor in the bathroom had underfloor heating. The suite was very comfortable, and light and airy. The decor was modern. We had a view of the street and a partially a mountain.

Our first impressions of the lobby were very good. When we got to our room - wow! It was very very clean with a living room, bedroom and kitchen. The bathroom floor had heated ceramic tile and the living room had a gas fire place. The service was excellent and the staff were all polite, friendly and very helpful - they were like our tour guides. Great rooms. Great location. Great staff. We will definately go back!

This is a top hotel. The room was amazing. We were upgraded to 2 bed suite with balcony facing the town. There was a bath in our master bedroom and every aspect of the room was pure luxury. September 11 , 2007 : Dublin, Ireland
A first class hotel with first class service. Thinking of selling up in England and moving into room 603 permanently!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights recently and loved it. We had a mountain view room on the 5th floor. The bed was super comfortable and the living room was a great place to unwind and relax. August 2 , 2007: A TripAdvisor Member, Philidelphia
Our ski trip this year took us to Whistler, BC Canada and our stay at the Sundial Boutique Hotel was excellent. Our two bedroom unit had plenty of room, comfortable soft beds, plush linens, and the most comfortable pull out sofa we had ever encountered. The view from our room was spectacular, service was prompt and courteous, everything was good. April 23 , 2007 : Lakeland, Florida
A luxurious and intimate hotel, best location in Whistler. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very well decorated/appointed. Bathrooms and linens are sumptous. Staff are polished, capable and friendly, will arrange or take care of just about anything. Truly a first-class experience. March 29 , 2007: Kelowna, BC
Great location right next to the gondola. There are only a couple truly "ski-in/out" properties, and the Sundial is one of them. We had the deluxe private hottub room, which was very spacious and on the top floor with a nice kitchen and huge deck with views of the mountains. They have free wireless internet so you can use your laptop while you are there (great for us so we could check in at work). I would absolutely recommend this to those who want to be right next to the lift in the morning.
